An attending physician at Children’s Hospital Colorado Child Health Clinic, Lisa DeCamp [associate professor of pediatrics], said illnesses are expected to spike as students head back to school and likely again in the winter. Diseases that DeCamp expects to see in October and November are RSV and the flu, among other respiratory viruses. Then in the winter, she’s anticipating another spike in COVID.
