It was a tremendous year with a variety of activities that kept alumni returning back for more. In addition to alumni featured in spotlights each month, a robust schedule of events drew alumni back to their alma mater. Here's what 2023 had to offer:
January 20
It was an alumni huddle at the National Stock Show during CU Night at the Rodeo. The day brought alumni in touch with over 500 vendors, a petting farm, and an abundance of livestock exhibits. |

CU Pharmacy transformed its regular lunch and learn into an Alumni Association panel discussion in the topic “Navigating the Pharmacy Profession: Leading with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” in honor of Black History Month. Hosted by the CU Pharmacy Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Career Services Office and the School’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, the event provided the opportunity for students to network with alumni and ask questions about their journey in the pharmacy profession. |

Alumni gathered with other CU Pharmacy friends in Phoenix, Arizona at Ingo’s Tasty Food for the APhA Alumni and Friends Breakfast, during the annual APhA Conference. |

The CU Pharmacy Alumni Association launched the Alumni Ambassador program. The program aligns alumni with volunteer opportunities that contribute to recruitment efforts and bridging relations in the community. |

CU Pharmacy celebrated, for the second year, its Alumni Heroes at a gathering in Greenwood Village at Pindustry. The Alumni Heroes program recognizes alumni who give back and support the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, whether they have mentored a student, volunteered in their community, served on the frontline, or provide an example of the best of the healthcare professions. |
