CU Anschutz honored the outstanding achievements of its student leaders and organizations at the annual Student Senate Excellence Awards on April 16. Hosted by the Office of Student Affairs and Student Senate, the event recognized individuals and groups who made meaningful contributions to campus life during the 2025–2026 academic year.
The celebration highlighted the impact of student leadership across CU Anschutz, from community service and advocacy to innovation and collaboration.
“The Student Senate Excellence Awards are always a great evening to celebrate our students,” said Carl Johnson, assistant vice chancellor of student affairs and campus dean of students. “The Student Senate works hard to host an evening of celebration for their peers. It is a great way to end the year hearing the many and varied accomplishments of the many talented student leaders on campus. We are what we celebrate and I always leave proud of our innovative students.”
