Bhargavi Chekuri, MBBS, MD, MS, was publicly honored on Thursday, November 16, at the Healthier Colorado Believe in Better 2023 gala event for her work on the frontline of care in time of climate crisis. She is most passionate about the ways Colorado’s changing climate impacts the health of Colorado’s young kids. Healthier Colorado is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the voices of Coloradans in the public policy process to improve the health of our state’s residents. They are focused on improving the well-being of Colorado’s residents and creating a better world for future generations.
