The University of Colorado Anschutz Department of Family Medicine is proud to present the incoming fellows of the University of Colorado Sports Medicine Fellowship for 2026.
The fellowship trains physicians to diagnose and manage sports-related injuries and medical conditions in athletes of all ages—from children and weekend warriors to elite competitors. The curriculum emphasizes four key areas: general sports medicine knowledge, exercise science, injury evaluation and treatment, and team physician experience.
Throughout the year, fellows will work closely with faculty across multiple clinical and training settings as they develop into well-rounded sports medicine professionals. We’re excited to welcome:
- Callie Bartkowiak, MD – University of Miami, Primary Care Track
- Jennifer Horton, MD – University of Utah, Pediatric Track
- Kathryn McGregor, MD – Cook County Emergency, EM Track
- Robin Tipps, MD – University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, PM&R Track
Congratulations to the University of Colorado Sports Medicine Fellowship Class of 2027!
