Faculty and fellows from the Department of Family Medicine's Sports Medicine Fellowship recently attended the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) annual conference in Austin, Texas.
The DFM Sports Medicine Fellowship team excelled in numerous research, case, and poster presentations - not to mention serving as featured panelists.
Jack Spittler, MD, fellowship program director said, "I'm incredibly proud of our Sports Medicine group's involvement at the recent AMSSM Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. We had residents, fellows, and faculty present their research and clinical cases, help on the program planning committee, deliver invited lectures, moderate sessions, and participate on the board of directors (Dr. Morteza Khodaee). It is truly a blessing to have such a dedicated Sports Medicine group and Fellowship Program that continues to impact our field at the national (and international) level in so many ways!"
The American Medical Society of Sports Medicine (AMSSM) is a physician organization specific for primary care non-surgical sports medicine physicians.
