“We’re actually seeing higher numbers than we were back in the spring,” said Samuel Dominguez, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at Children’s Hospital of Colorado [and professor of pediatrics at CU School of Medicine]. “In both pediatrics and adults, numbers are increasing. We’re overall seeing a large number of kids admitted.”
