New Colorado health order allows hospitals to refuse patients as COVID cases and hospitalizations rise

On Wednesday, hospitals and health systems activated the highest tier of the state's patient transfer system. The move allows hospitals to transfer patients to any hospital in the state, even if the patient doesn't agree to the move.
