Policy Office Announces CU Anschutz Policy Updates

New measures include a policy for awarding graduate credit for prior learning

On July 1, 2020, 11 updated campus policies and three new campus policies became effective. Most of these changes respond to Board of Regents policy revisions and related updates to system Administrative Policy Statements.

New policies for the CU Anschutz Medical Campus and CU Denver campus include a policy for awarding graduate credit for prior learning, a policy for creating new academic units and renaming existing academic units or degree programs, and a policy outlining roles and responsibilities of department chairs.

1027 – Multi-Year Contracts for IRC Faculty Members and Librarians

1050 – Post Tenure Review

4012 – Employment Background Checks

7017 – Graduation Deadline

Before receiving the Chancellor’s approval, each policy underwent an extensive review process that included faculty and administrators. The next semi-annual policy review will take place during the fall of 2020.
