CU Pharmacy alumni spanning 60 years of graduates gathered with their friends and family, along with students, faculty, and staff, on the CU Boulder campus, Saturday, Oct. 29 to celebrate the annual Homecoming event at Ralphie’s Corral.

“We have represented with us today 60 years of alumni from 1959 to 2018 and we’re happy to have everyone here,” said Dean Ralph Altiere.Among the alumni were two of this year’s alumni award recipients. Laura Tyndall, PharmD (RPh ’82), who received this year’s Distinguished Alumni Award, travelled from the East Coast to spend the weekend engaged in activities with her alma mater. Lifetime Achievement Alumni Award honoree Ed Skaff had his wife, children, and grandchildren on hand to enjoy the tailgate festivities.

The occasion also brought together the Class of 1972, celebrating their 50th reunion. The bicentennial Class of 1976 also showed up in great numbers to be part of the fun.

The weekend also included a tour of the CU Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences on the CU Anschutz Campus. Guests were also treated to a tour of the campus and the Pharmacy Research lab located in the new Health Sciences Building.
