DOM Newsroom Launches: April 15, 2022

Chair of Medicine's Blog

minute read

One of my goals as Chair is to amplify the many achievements and accolades attained by members of the department, particularly in our clinical, education and research missions.

In a typical week, there will be an article featuring one of our faculty featured in various media publications every day and on multiple outlets (such as The Washington Post, National Public Radio, U.S. News and World Report, etc.). This media coverage occurs in addition to research publications that are announced almost daily, as well as internal stories highlighting the work of our department and divisions covered by CU Anschutz Today and the School of Medicine.

These achievements are critical to our identity and to our brand as one of the pre-eminent Departments of Medicine in the nation. That is why I’m happy to announce that the DOM recently launched a new, dynamic newsroom that collates all of these stories in one easy to access platform. I encourage you to bookmark the newsroom and peruse the different news categories. You’ll also find a repository of this blog as well as archives of our DOM newsletter in the Newsroom.

I’d like to thank our communications team—Holli Keyser and Amy Vucci—for their creativity and innovation in developing our newsroom. Be sure to let us know your feedback. We’re always looking for opportunities to highlight the work of our people, so please do send your news and story ideas to us. We would love to feature you in the Newsroom!

Onwards,

Vineet
